Sensational Burgers


Gee, this one is also one of my favorites.  

Pure savory burgers – packed with great taste and contains no eggs or breadcrumbs – pure meat and great flavor.

Sensational Burgers
1 medium white onion -grated
1/2 medium green bell pepper -grated

1 package Knorr mushroom brown gravy mix

2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons liquid smoke flavoring
1/2 cup grated pepper jack cheese
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried ground oregano

1/4 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 tablespoon salt

3 1/2 pounds ground chuck
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except meat mixing well. Break ground chuck into small pieces and add to bowl incorporating meat into mixture with a large spoon. Mixture should be loose – be careful not to disturb the fat content. Divide into eight equal portions and form into balls. Slightly flatten and place between wax paper. Flatten pushing down using the bottom of a plate. Place on large baking pan and chill for several hours. Preheat grill on high. When ready, place on grill and lower to medium heat. Grill for 5 minutes per side for medium and 6 to 7 minutes to reach medium-well patties.

Add extra cheese on top of patties while toasting the buns to the side.
